Description
Gene Cernan (left) in the boulders on the rim of Camelot Crater. Jack comes into view on the right. Gene starts trying to hammer a fresh sample off a block near him and Jack comes over to collect it with a scoop, collecting a sample bag from Gene's back pack and putting the sample inside it. One of them calls it a gabbro. It's sample 462 - a freshly fractured rock. Jack puts it back in Gene's backpack side pocket as he stands still. Capcom Bob Parker discusses temperatures and other conditions of the rover with a colleague in the audio over Gene and Jack.
