Description
Camera pulls out to reveal the leg of the Lunar Module. It pans left to find Dave Scott who is walking past the camera towards the tether he's used in clip FTV-0000793. He talks to Jim Irwin about the electrical connections. Camera zooms in on the layering in the rocks on the Hadley delta in the distance. You can see Dave's helmet (soft focus) on the edge of the image. He turns and heads across camera. Capcom Joe Allen relays some setting they want to the rover set to. Dave goes around the front of the camera and turns it off.

Historic Context of Clip
Background to Apollo 15:
Apollo 15 was the ninth manned mission in the Apollo program and the fourth mission to land on the Moon. It was the first of what were termed J missions, long duration stays on the Moon with a greater focus on science than had been possible on previous missions. Dave Scott and Jim Irwin spent three days exploring the Hadley Delta region with the first Lunar Rover, returning 77kg of samples to Earth.
