Command Module 202 Re-entry  (FTV-0002001)
This text will be replaced

Description
View looking backwards out of a Command Module window onboard Apollo mission 202 (known as Apollo 3) during re-entry. The clip shows the super-heated trails of plasma licking in vortices around the capsule and trailing back into the dark black sky as the capsule hurtles into the Earth's upper atmosphere. The clip goes dark periodically as densities of the glowing plasma grow and fall. The green and blue colours are caused by the different atoms of nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere.
