Description
Frank Borman floats in the far left couch adjusting his microphone. Jim Lovell is in the lower instrument bay. Bill Anders (filming the scene behind the camera) floats over a mall bottle of lotion to Frank who passes it to Jim. Jim rubs some of the lotion onto his eyes. The view pans back towards Frank. Bill floats the camera over towards him as the camera still runs - capturing a close up of Frank's face before he turns the camera round to glimpse Bill Anders at the end of the clip.

Historic Context of Clip
Background to Apollo 8:
Apollo 8 was the second successful manned mission of the Apollo space program, in which Commander Frank Borman, Command Module Pilot James Lovell and Lunar Module Pilot William Anders became the first humans to orbit the Moon. It was also the first manned launch of the Saturn V rocket.
