Loading the video player...

Description
Apollo 10 Commander Tom Stafford in his Snoopy cap and Apollo pressure suit stands inside the Lunar Module. Gene Cernan films him doing some checks of the descent system as they prepare to approach the lunar surface. A triangular LEM window is seen behind Tom and the sunlight is very bright outside. Stafford punches buttons on the instrument panel with his gloved hand and then points decisively at the read out. Second view looking the other way towards LEM pilot Gene Cernan now filmed by Tom. Gene also wears his snoopy cap and pressure suit with a prominent stars and stripes flag on his left shoulder. To his left we glimpse an Apollo suit helmet floating to the side.
